This spider basically disappears into her beautifully constructed web. I reckon this is an Argiope species.
Cute member of the family Membracidae which I found just outside the canteen at La Selva.
Over-the-top leg warmers on this amazing butterfly. She may be in the genus Sarota. The color has not been enhanced -- her legs really are this color! I thought she was a moth at first sight, but clearly, she is not.
